Team USA places 6th in mixed-team event

VAL DI FIEMME, Italy  - Team USA placed sixth in the first  ever mixed gender team ski jumping event at the FIS World Nordic Ski  Championships. Sarah Hendrickson (Park City, UT) and Jessica Jerome  (Park City, UT) jumped for the ladies and Anders Johnson (Park City, UT)   and Peter Frenette (Saranac Lake, NY) for the men. This was the mixed gender team event's debut and the Japanese team took the gold with a  commanding lead.
