Van undergoes successful knee surgery

PARK CITY, Utah – Olympian and 2009 World Champion Lindsey Van underwent successful surgery on her left knee Thursday in Salt Lake City and today began a robust six-month physical therapy and rehab program.  Van's procedure included ACL reconstruction and microfracture surgery, performed by U.S. Ski Team physician Dr. Andrew Cooper of Salt Lake City.

World Champion Hendrickson returns to ski jump training

PARK CITY, Utah — Reigning World Champion Sarah Hendrickson has successfully returned to ski jump training, just five months after sustaining a knee injury during a training jump in Obersdorf, Germany.

For the past week, Hendrickson has been jumping the 90-meter hill at Utah Olympic Park in Park City under the direction of Alan Alborn, Women’s Ski Jumping USA head coach, and U.S. Ski Team medical staff.

PARK CITY, Utah — Nina Lussi and Emilee Anderson will represent the U.S. in the 2014 Junior World Ski Jumping Championships this month in Val di Fiemme, Italy.

This will mark Lussi’s 6th appearance since 2009 at Junior Worlds and it will be Anderson’s second. Lussi and Anderson are both up-and-coming athletes on the Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team. The individual women’s event will take place Tuesday, Jan. 28.
